Spinners Members free, others welcome with $20 suggested donation to Safety Foundation
The hustle bustle of the holidays are just about over. You visited and ate, you partied and ate, maybe you overindulged ever so slightly. Now it’s time to get back in line with your active lifestyle. I’m talking about the first group bike ride of the new year – The Spinners First Fifty!
This year the Spinners Safety Foundation is running the event as a fundraiser. The Safety Foundation’s mission is to provide free helmets to school kids in Greenville County and to provide bike safety information. They also typically get involved with bicycle gifting to the less fortunate during the holidays.
The ride starts and ends at Furman, travels through Dacusville and on up to Table Rock where the turnaround and rest stop is set up. Once again Andre and Lynn Mathis will treat us to a fabulous break. We then head back to Furman via Marietta and Travelers Rest. More info, click here: First Fifty
