Tell local government how they can support pedestrians and cyclists in your area.
An online MetroQuest survey has been recently posted allowing people to provide information for the Greenville-Pickens Area Transportation Study.
A long-range transportation plan update was held at the TD Convention Center on Sept. 7, and it was both surprising and aggravating to hear some of the complaints individual citizens made about cyclists.
This survey gives you the chance to have your voice heard. We know that cycling is important to this area, that we add value to properties and help add to the overall wellbeing of neighborhoods, and that we bring millions of dollars to local economies, but the people around us haven’t yet gotten the message.
Please take 10 to 20 minutes of your time to take this survey and tell the local authorities overseeing transportation growth that they should support multiple modes of transportation and provide infrastructure that allows for safer cycling and pedestrian routes in your area.
