Final Fifty Huge Success!
About 140 riders braved mid-30 degree temperatures to start the 12th annual Final Fifty (55 mile) ride held New Years Eve 2016.
Late in the morning riders welcomed blue skies and sunshine but it clouded back up and never warmed up much past 50 degrees. No rain though!
Lynn and Andrea Mathis provided a great rest stop at Table Rock State Park. Riders love the home made treats and warm drinks! This ride is a fundraiser for the Spinners Safety Foundation that provides safety information and free helmets to children in Greenville County.
Nancy Wolfe is the director of the Safety Foundation and is ride director of the Final Fifty.
