Report – Feb 2016

The 2nd Spinners Ride to the River was an adventuresome, fun, and challenging exploration from Greenville, SC to Royston, GA and then onto Athens, GA and finally back to Greenville on a three day, friendship making trip.

Although each rider had their own mileage Jerry Phelps led the pack with approximately 265 miles total distance.

Lynda Molnar and Don Youngblood were the cycling duo, SAG duo and culinary experts that kept us fed and happy.

Kimberly rode the most unique bike, a steel frame Trek from the 80’s (I believe). EClaire Hudson was the impromptu SAG and entertainment guide in Athens, GA. We all enjoyed peace and quiet, beer, great food, hot tea and coffee and nature at the River House. For more pictures of this event click:
