This is the third of 3 posts. This post will show you how to adjust your Security and Email Settings. The second post covers Adding Friends. The first post covered how to add your photo and a background photo to your profile, Notifications, Sending and Receiving Messages.
Profile/Privacy Settings
NOTE: Members (except Membership Board Member and Website Admins) do not have access to your actual email address or other information unless you give it to them. You receive notifications by email from the site to the email you provided during registration when another member contacts you.
Here is another area to change your Profile settings and to manage your privacy.
Click the Menu/Plus Bar, and in the drop down menu, click “Settings”
Under “General” you can change your account email, and/or change your password.
Under “My Addresses” you can edit your address
Under “Email”, you can change your preferences to receive or not receive email notices within groups, your friends, member activity, receive messages, etc.
Under “Profile Visibility” you can adjust who sees your profile.
Under “Privacy” you can make your membership visible to the public, to only logged in users, friends, or only yourself.
