This is the first of 3 posts covering how to add your photo and a background photo to your profile, Notifications, Sending and Receiving Messages. Next post will cover Adding Friends. And last post will show you how to adjust your Security and Email Settings.
Profile
Go to your profile by clicking your Username in the sidebar to the right.
Click “Profile”, and then click “Edit” Fill in your information and save Changes.
To Change your profile photo, click “Change Profile Photo” Upload photo from your Computer.
To Change Background Image, click on “Change Cover Image” Upload Photo from your Computer.
Notifications
Click on Notifications to receive messages from. Click on each message to read. You can reply to each message.
To send and receive messages
Click on “Messages”. You will see your Inbox.
To send a Message, click “Compose”
Enter information Outlined in the Form.
Click Send Message.
Recipient will receive an email alerting them they have a message.
