Event Details

Registration is now open for the 6th annual Upstate Forever Preservation Ride on September 23, 2017. We’re pleased to announce that we’ve moved to the beautiful Pleasant Ridge Camp & Retreat Center closer to Greenville.
We have 64, 44 & 17 mile road routes available, and we’ve added a MTB Preservation Ride this year. Being at this awesome outdoor oasis allows us to add several new events to the schedule as well, so check it out and get registered today!

Road Bike Rides : (Includes Maps/Marked Course, Fully Stocked Rest Stops, Rider Giveaways, Free Lunch)

Preservation Rides will feature routes that climb the Greenville Water Shed, taking in the spectacular beauty of the Upstate. Multiple ride distances will be available for cyclists of all levels. There is a 17 mile route, 44 mile route and a 64 mile route available. All of these routes feature spectacular scenery and fully stocked rest stops. The 17 mile route is least challenging on elevation gain, while the 44 & 64 mile routes feature 3500 ft and 5000 ft of climbing respectively. There is an option on the 44 & 64 mile routes to skip some of the climbing on the way home if you prefer. All road routes will share some of the same roads, so you will want to make sure you follow the correct colored arrows marking the courses.
