Greenville Spinners Meeting Tuesday November 13, 2012 at the Hughes Main Library 6:30 PM

Come hear Amy Johnson, from the Palmetto Cycling Coalition, speak about bicycle-related issues they are working on at the state level. With your support, the PCC works to make bicycling safer in the state of SC. Through public education and advocating for better road engineering, the PCC works to make the state more bicycle-friendly. If you want to be a part of the movement, or if you just care about road conditions or driver and cyclist behavior on the roads, come hear this informative presentation. Plenty of room for question/answer will follow.

Amy Johnson is the Executive Director of PCC, and having replaced Rachel Bronson who has enrolled in a masters degree program.

Amy started with PCC on 1 August 2012, and hails from Augusta, has an M.S. in Geography, and possesses a unique combination of experiences volunteering and working for a non-profit transportation choices organization. Her seven years with BikeAthens, first as a board member and then as staff, and her diverse yet strong professional background in consulting and education, provide her with the right skill set to excel as the next leader of the PCC.
